All manner of IT, electronic and office equipment is collected by our trained, uniformed personnel. Collections are arranged at your convenience and can even be arranged outside of normal working hours if required. Dynamic Asset Recovery holds a valid Environment Agency waste carriers licence which makes us legal to carry your (WEEE) waste. Upon collection of your electrical waste will we issue you with a waste transfer note and if applicable a hazardous waste consignment note. Equipment classed as hazardous waste includes CRT Computer monitors. These documents assist both parties to comply with current regulations. Equipment AuditingEach item will collect from you will be assigned a unique identity number. We will then compile a full report of all your equipment detailing make/model and individual serial numbers. Equipment is then graded for refurbishment, recycling or disposal. All equipment that is either non-recyclable, repairable or has identifying tags which can not be removed are sent to a regulated third party WEEE disposal company and documented. An electronic copy of this report will be provided to show traceability of all your equipment. Therefore ensuring compliance with your own asset register and audit trail. Secure Data ErasureOne of our primary concerns is the sensitivity of the data on your storage media. The 1998 Data Protection Act makes it a legal requirement to adopt appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorised access, alteration or accidental loss or destruction of personal data. For further information please visit http://www.dataprotection.gov.uk All hard drives are erased using software which exceeds the DoD 5220.22M standard and ensures compliance with HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley, GLB, FACTA and other government compliance regulations. Any hard disk that fails data wiping, cannot be accessed or is found to be faulty, is removed from the device and physically destroyed. This ensures complete data security from our client’s point of view. Destroyed hard disks are then sent for recycling. Once each drive has successfully been erased a report detailing each drives serial number is generated, copies of these reports can be included in the equipment report we provide.
